I recently bought an R4 Upgrade Revolution for my ds to support my 4gb Micro SDHC card, as I used to have the original R4DS with a 2gb card which just wasn't enough room. It wasn't until after I bought it that I found out the R4DS I bought is actually a DSTT firmware supporting cart passed off as an R4DS...
I loved the original R4DS firmware, the menu was so quick and everything worked smoothly, this new one I bought lags and sometimes things just don't boot...

Is there any way of me either installing the original R4DS firmware onto this flash cart, or can I somehow change the menu to be like the old R4DS? Basically I just want the old firmware back, but with SDHC support...

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

P.S. I tried using moonshell as an alternative, but every time I boot a game in Moonshell the operation is halted... I'm guessing because moonshell is only a media player :p

    No, because it's not a "real" R4.

Do yourself a favor, buy another flashcart, something that doesn't have R4 in the name.
