R4i card - things to avoid?

    I've just bought a R4i mod card for my daughter's DSI and am haivng no problems ( ie the various 'homebrew' games Ive downloaded onto it are working fine. However are there any major things i need to avoid, eg. software update sand the like?

    Only issue - make sure if you update the firmware you get the right one!
