R4i Gold problem

    I have an R4i gold and it was working fine until yesterday. It keeps witching off my dsi when I insert it?

    Can anyone tell me what is wrong or what I can do?

    I will appreciate a reply.

    Backup everything on the sd card, format it, reload everything back on - then test.

    If it doesn't work - throw it away, something serious has gone wrong and eventually it may blow the fuse in the DSi

    But only when I insert the R4i Gold it does not work. If I insert an original Nintendo game it works perfectly. I think it's something from the Nintendo team.

    I'm pretty sure the R4i Gold wasn't compatible with the DSi after the 1.4 update. I'd take a look at some v1.4 cards like r4i SDHC or Acekard 2i.
