    Hello!

I just got the R4i cartridge with the 4GB microSD card for the DSi from http://gocybershopping.ca and have been having problems with it.

I formatted the mini SD that came with it to FAT using Windows Explorer, then I went to the R4i card's website which is http://r4ultra.com and got the latest update and followed all the steps on the guide at the site. After that, I just put it in the DSi and it shows up as "Danny Phantom" for some odd reason(...) and when I hit it, I just get a "Loading..." screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Where would I go to do that? There seems to be so many sites for all these downloads :/

The Danny Phantom logo (fix) is used by Acekard to bypass the flashcart blocking on DSi's
(this is needed to fool the DSi into thinking it has a guinine card inside it.)

Other brand flashcarts use different games.

I had heard Acekard made some cards for an R4 brand. you may have sort of acekard inside that shell... anyhow...

so there are two things on that site you should do...

    1. reflash your card (Danny phantom fix)
    2. format your SD card and reintall the kernal files (software menu/files and folders)...

I'm most likely not looking at any of the right ones, but I'm having no luck with these different firmwares I'm trying out and still get a "Loading..." screen. I've tried some of the R4i firmwares and tried one acekard firmware (AK2i v4.21) on the DSi I'm using.

I guess I'm gonna have to try waytoobig is mentioning, which is flashing it, but even I don't know that. Didn't think think it'd be this damn complicated to get an R4i cartridge working, not to mention all these different versions.

If it helps to know, this is the one I got

Yeah, I tried the first link and had no luck with that one before. The second one I'm trying and it seems really reliable. I'm trying all the different firmwares for my R4i cartridge right now (all are from http://r4ultra.com which is also printed on the box of my card and the cartridge itself), no luck so far, but it says in the tutorial to just try other ones....there's so many. This is gonna suck.

Is there a specific way to do it with that?

Anyway, I tried everything: different firmwares they have on their site and others you tried telling me to use and absolutely nothin is working at all

    hi guys
here's what to do, it will work.

    format your sd.

    download kernel version 1.55

drag and drop all contents to your sd card.

drag and drop your games on to sd card.

    now it will work.

    kernel version 1.55
    download link> http://www.r4ultra.com/download/en_1.55.rar

you will still have the danny phantom icon but your card will be working now.
    hope it helps.
