I'm wondering about which I should get for my Dsi (Getting the dsi in a few days). I read that the R4 does NOT work on new firmware updates on the dsi, but the acekard does, and vice versa. What card works with the newest dsi firmware and will continue to work, but also has good quality? And are there better cards than the Acekard and R4?
    Regards,

    Supercard DSTwo

This is the definitive, best cart available for DS systems.

    - Near 100% compatibility with games with the only hiccups being in older titles. Many of these have been fixed though.
    - Great, Slot 1 GBA Emulator. This isn't the absolute best out there, but considering the price of the cart and the DSi's lack of a Slot 2, this is absolutely amazing.
    - SNES Emulator that easily surpasses the shoddy homebrew emulators available to all.
    - Many plug ins for ease of use in many aspects
    - Great media support for music and video
    - Many fun extras for in game
    - Supports large MicroSD cards

The list goes on and on making this cart just flat out amazing. I can not recommend anything over it, but I can give a more simple choice for those looking for something less extravagant.

    Acekard2i

The Acekard2i is an excellent cart with the use of the third party AKAIO firmware.

    - Great compatibility and supports patched games well
    - Inexpensive
    - Supports large MicroSD cards
    - Great cart for the cost

This cart lacks all of the bells and whistles of the DSTwo but serves all the possible needs of somebody just looking to play DS games.

I use the acekard2. Once is a while run into a game that doesn't boot, but they constantly update the firmware to make games run.

    hi
acekard 2i is better. It can support new ds games automatically.
R4 need to update their kernel when new games release.

Acekard 2i is better, it can be updated, but you need the right patches, so the best one is a Supercard DSONEi which has a firmware updater so you can update as nintendo updates as well! :)

I think you could get a acekard 2i or R4i SDHC,
Acekard 2i is a good card for DSi, it has better compatibility to homebrew.

Of course the Acekard 2i is better.
Acekard 2i is updateable, it will not be blocked by nintendo.

Supercard DSTwo wins hands down!! If you're not looking to spend loads, get the Acekard 2i. Avoid anything that is called "R4" at all costs. They were once good cards, but that was years ago, before the original team disappeared and loads of clone and counterfeit cards started to enter the scene. Take this from somebody who has owned all of these flash cards. The only card I haven't owned to my knowledge is the M3.

I recommend buying all your flash cards from 0shippingzone.com. They provide a great service with tracking for your parcel and thier prices are pretty good too. I got a supercard DSTwo GBATEMP edition for $45 incl p&p. Well worth it!! ^o^ Would give you a price for the acekard, but it appears they're down for the moment!! >.<

here is a Acekard 2i official reseller list:
    http://www.acekard.com/distributors.php

If you don't need the card urgently, i recommend you get it from China sellers.
several dollars cheaper, 4CoolDay.com is the store i used.
