R4i SDHC V1.4 DSi Card(Red box) DO WORK on DSi XL/DSi LL consoles

    Turnes out that despite the rumors of improved 'protection' against DS Homebrew and NDS ROM piracy R4i SDHC flash cards are DSi XL compatible - that is DSi flash cards that are compatible with regular DSi firmware version 1.4 will also WORK on Nintendo DSi XL consoles!

    can't get mine to work using the latest r41 firmware what am i doin wrong?

    Hi Franco,
    I have bought two different cart's and still cant get them working.
    I'm thinking there just bad cart's. Iv'e tried loading every possible firmware from every site and nothing seems to work. How about you? have you got it working yet.
    I'm using it on an new DSi-XL

    gave up on the r4 and got an acekard which works just fine

    Its a bit of an expensive lesson, but the R4 (all 50+ of them) are bad news.

    The only people who recommend them now are Spammers trying to sell them

    The R4i red has more loading problems than R4i gold. I prefer R4i gold which works on DS, DSi and DSiLL too.
