I finally got the new patch for the r4i sdhc 3ds card but it won't update, I downloaded and put it onto my r4 card and when I go into update it says new update October? The new 2013 update isn't there, I'm so confused with all this and am wondering if its just my r4i card being out of date?
so you mean r4i sdhc 3ds card from the r4i-sdhc.com? They just released the new firmware V1.65b, but the new firmware is not patch for the 3ds V4.5.0-10 or DSi V1.45. SO you can not use it to update your card. According to the official news on 8th December,2012, please do not update your 3DS firmware to v4.5.0-10 until we release the new update patch for R4i-SDHC. You have to wait until they release the new patch. Otherwise you should buy a new card.
According to previous experience, the r4i-sdhc 3ds updating patch wont be released....you'd better buy a newer version r4i-sdhc 3ds card
