racing uk

    hi,hope somone can help me,have the box2 but cannot get racing uk and someother channels,put code in manualy no good,brought the box over to a friend who lives in a different part of dublin,did a rescan and got all channels,brought it home and lost all channels did a rescan and got back the same as i had before,we are both using the same cable supplier,has anyone had this problem,what can i do.thanks

    Do a factory reset and rescan direct from the incoming feed. Turn key emu back on.

    Have you tried a booster, as you may have a weak signal. Also check your cabling and RF connectors.BTW what part of Dublin are we talking about?

    tried booster no good,connection is fine

    I ask what part of Dublin you are in only for good reason, I only need the area, e.g. Dundrum, Swords, etc etc.

    Yep the signal on that particular TP isnt the best in that area. What firmware are you using? And are you scanning from the direct feed, i.e. from where it enters your house with no splitters.

    If it works in your mates house and not yours then it is a cabling problem. A booster usually helps, but doesnt seem to in your case.

    unsure about firmwere,not using any splitters

    Press menu and system info for firmware info, but I can gaurantee its a cable fault either externally or internal.
