I just had a custom cpu built (P4 3.0Ghz Radeon 9200 128mb video card)and the desktop icons are huge (I can only fit 6-7 icons from the top to the bottom of my screen). (Overall everything seems extralarge) I am running windows XP Home and I am using a samsung syhncmaster 730b with the analog cables. Does anyone know how to make the icons and everything else smaller? Please let me know thanks

Your screen resolution is probably at 800x600. Change your resolution to 1024x768 or higher.

like ken said, change your resolution.

right click on the desktop, select properties. then click the settings tab. slide the bar for "screen resolution" to the right and increase it to where it is comfortable. Me I like my resolution very large so I can have many icons on the screen and various programs windowed and can see them all, so I have mine at 1600 X 1200. but not all monitors/video cards can go that high.
