I'm looking at buying some new RAM for my computer, my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-945P-S3, and I did a scan on Crucial to find compatible RAM. It came back saying that PC2-8500 unbuffered non-ECC RAM was compatible. So, just to be 100% sure, would this RAM work with my motherboard

Any help is appreciated, basically looking for some decent gaming RAM. Thanks!

The RAM specs that you are looking for is the "DDR2 667". DDR2 is the form factor of the RAM, and 667Mhz is the highest speed your motherboard supports according to gigabyte's website. I can't say with a certainty that you won't be able to put in higher clocked RAM and the motherboard would just clock it down to 667, but it's definitely is better to spend less on 667Mhz sticks.

Here is NewEggs list sorted by ranking of RAM that is compatible with your motherboard.
