need to upgrade pc memory to play two new games as curentley have 512 mb ddr 3200 wanting to get 2gb and have 2 slots Looking in the manual and seen this but confused what it means 2ddr dimm slots ddr1 and ddr2 1ddr dimm slot surports pc 3200 (ddr400) max. 1gb 2 ddr dimm slots surport pc2700 (ddr333)/pc200 (ddr266) max 2gb. What do i need to buy am baffled. I need to get up to 2gb or 1.5gb if possible to keep my 512 and add a 1gb stick
double posting is against forum rules. but in answer to your ? sounds to me like your board will only support pc3200 at 1gb. but will support 2 gb at a lower speed. I would still get the pc3200 at 2gb but your board will run it at pc2700 speeds. Which is 333mhz. or get a new mobo too and then you can run 4 to 8gb of ram depending on board.
