Ram Usage

    What Are The Usages of ram diffrence between vista and xp? as i am setting u my laptop for audio recording and would like to have as much spare ram as possible

    Basic running of xp is around 256MB-512MB
    Basic running of Vista seemed like 1GB+ when I used it.
    I'm on Win7 now and that's probably the best option if your system has 4GB or more of RAM.
    If not stay with XP

    Figures are based on my own experience.
