    ... using RipIt4Me (v?), AnyDVD v6.3 & DVD Shink v3.2 ... couldn't get the whole disk copy to work (got to 99% after 17+ hours! ;->>), even tried upgrading AnyDVD w/ no luck. ended up backreving AnyDVD to my old ver (6.3), and doing movie "only", and worked like a champ!

    it's got nothing to do w/ ver's, from what i can tell ... you just gotta do movie only (like someone stated earlier in the thread), that is ... w/ the software "i'm" using ... sounds like Clone & others are doing full disk ...

    just my 2ยข's worth! ;->>>

    At this point, as long as the programs used are up-to-date...there should be zero problems with this title.

    Not only this one, but the vast majority....this would apply to future new releases as well.

    There appears to be quite a lot of contradictory information on this thread. Some people have tried the latest updates of certain software and still can't copy Rambo. And yet others claim to have copied it with virtually anything.

    I can't speak for the region 1 version, but the region 2 version of Rambo has new protection and will not copy with Ripit4me or the latest version (5.0.3.0.) of DVDfab. Believe me, I've tried. And before anyone mentions it, I do not need to clean the disk or update the firmware on my drives.

    Many thanks for that, 7thsinger. I have just checked the DVDFab site and they have posted an update 5050 (although the history notes don't specifically mention Rambo). I will try it when I get time.

    No problem.

    Give that a try and post back if you have any issues.

    My question is not 100% on topic but has to do with something mentioned here so maybe you guys won't run me off:) dialysis1 mentioned errors and correcting manually, other than running FixVTS after ripping with DVDFab, how does one go about discovering these errors and correcting them manually?

    @ dialysis1
    I gathered from your post, that I quoted, that you recommend using PgcEdit. However, when I open up the program it looks like someone took every icon they could find and threw it onto one page. Maybe you could point me in a better direction for receiving help, the only guide I could find was strictly for removing menu buttons/commands and not for checking and fixing errors like you have talked about. I have been able to back up a few movies but am trying to learn more about the more detailed programs (DVDRebuilder, PgcEdit, etc.) aside from straight ripping, transcoding, then burning.

    Some of the guides are outdated.
    First make sure you install all of the plugins. There is a download for all of them on the home page.
    You can click on the DVD tab and select to delete uncalled pgc's.
    You can click on the plugins tab and check for incorrect time maps. If any are found, they will be corrected when you save the DVD. You can right click on the PGC's you don't want and select to kill playback. When you use the kill playback function, after you save and exit, you must run the files through FixVTS.
    Clicking on the info tab can be very useful.
    Learning how to use the trace mode for removing unwanted material is important.
    This is not an easy tool to learn but after a while you'll discover the how powerful this program is.
    Take the time to check all the guides on PgcEdit's homepage.

    @dialysis1
    Thank you for your help. I know that some of these tools have a lot of potential, its just that sometimes when you open them up, it can be a bit very overwhelming. I am glad to have you guys to turn to when help is needed.
    Almost forgot, do you use IFOEdit, as well. The reason I ask is that on the download page it says that it does not work well with WinXP. Just wanted to know before installing and having my system go BOOM.

    Yes it can be overwhelming. Take your time. Practice. Try different things.
    For example:
    You don't want to sit through 10 minutes of trailers before you get to the menu or the movie. With PgcEdit you can change that.
    Or maybe you have a movie that doesn't return to the menu when finished. You can correct that. It really is unbelievable the amount of things this program can do.
