Alright, I booted up my computer, and it did an unscheduled Chkdsk scan thing. Normally, I would have been fine, but if delted/restored a fair few files? So after it finished, my compute boots up reeeeal slow. It's still running slow, and when I search some of the processes on the net, my net dropped out (lil weird). There is nothing wrong in your log, alex. There are times that computer problems like automobile problems can be narrowed down to the “loose nut on the steering wheel” See Slow Computer? It May Not Be Malware for free cleaning/maintenance tools to help keep your computer running smooth.
One thing is, there a processes in Task Manager, but aren't showing in HJT. Could that mean anything?
Well thanks for the help. Any suggestions as to some general maintenance tips? I run SpeedUpMyPc3 every week. Delete my temp files. Delete cookies/cache. Uninstall extra programs. Run a registry cleaner. Do a virus scan. Run a spyware/adware scan. Am I missing something? Cos my computer is being noobish.
Oh, and one other thing (not virus related). Would you have any idea ehy some windows dominate the others? Like on the taskbar you can't click to minimize it, you can't click on a background to bring it forward (kind of like Task Manager). It seems to change from window to window, it's MSN atm.
