    hi everyone
ive started to have this annoying problem with my laptop. This problem started a month or so back. Basically, the computer turns off at random times. it happens during counter strike or sometimes when im typing a word document. Sometimes, but not too often, it turns off five minutes after a cold boot. I thought it might have been the ventilation, but ive put two PS2 game cases on eitehr side, but it still turns off. the fan might not be spinning fast enoughk, because the the laptop does get hot pretty quickly, even if it's idle? any ideas how to fix this, or will i have to send the laptop back to the technicians?
    thx in advance

This doesn't sound like a heat issue. What may be happening is your machine's individual components may be creating instability when activated. If it happens mostly while using graphic-intensive applications then your cvideo card mauy need some different drivers, other wise use scan disk and defragment and see if that helps.

Have you tried updating all of your drivers, especially those for your video card? This may be another problem area. Get the most current drivers for all your major hardware (audio, video, drives, etc.) Hope this helps.

    hi Liquid86.
ive already updated all my drivers, but it still doesnt work. ive backed up all my data, adn formatted the hard drive, but it still shuts down, so im assuming its a hardware prob.
