When you softmod, do you need to unrar all the files, and if so,after all the files have been unrard do you just putthe whole folder onto action replay, or do i have to do it individually. Hey im a noob and ill admit it but i do need help, and thank you to all that have helped me. Thank you

I know you were using 007, but if you can get ahold of Splinter Cell, there's a good tutorial at this site: http://www.techfreaks.org/articles/modxbox.shtml . It explains how to do everything. I suppose you could still give it a read as most softmods are relatively similar. I've done the MechAssault softmod as well as Splinter Cell and I must say Splinter Cell was by far easier. After you get the game saves you the box and you get it in Unleashed X (I think that's what it's called) you just tell it to backup your C:\ and then hit "Install Softmod" and then "Install EvoX" and you're all done. Your Xbox will boot in EvoX from then on. I used it and it really did only take about 10 minutes for me to be up and running with EvoX all set up.
Gee is it that hard?? I recall only having to download a GSH and then having to copy that to the XBOX™ HDD via a USB Stick or other MemCart. Insert the Original Game Disc and either Boot direct off the Disc or from the Dashboard. Go to to the Load Game Option, and load the Run Linux! Game Save. Bam I was in EvoX. But, that was Three HDD's and many long Years ago....
Well this way is nice because after you have this all done, you have a backup of your C drive (in case you muck it up) on your E drive and you no longer need to boot with any game. The Xbox will just boot in EvoX on its own. That was the easiest way I found. Too bad I couldn't have found it before making my Xbox FUBAR. I did get it working right on my friend's box though.
