I cant seem to be able to expand a ratdvd to dvd9 again it only converts to dvd5 is there something wrong?
I've had the same trouble, my understanding was that it would go back to dvd9 but when I set the tasrget at 8000+MB it still comes out as 4300MB? I haven't got a clue as to why.
seems as im not the only one, also when i tell RATDVD to convert to dvd5 it doesnt even use all the space on the dvd, my final release ends up being about 3.9 or 3.75 gigs, This can amount to quality loss, so i don't see why it doesnt take advantage and use the 4.7gigs of a dvd.
To my understanding, it's a result of the audio tracks being compressed into AC3 (with virtually no quality lost). And if you want it to return to a DVD9, you must specify it in the buttom "Destination Size" box. (no clue about dissone 's problem - is it posibble u ratted a DVD5?)
