I've read a couple of things about it. Mostly problems with it not cooperating for some reason or another. It's still in its infant stage, so that should be expected though. We now have a forum for it here though.

It seems everyone has stayed away from it but it has great promise..if you can compress the dvd to 1 gig you can back up like 4 dvd's on 1 dvd-r..that would be great and make them backups of backups lol

when you buy DVDRs for like $0.30 each, it's not worth it to compress that much.

depends what dvds you buy, for example i've bought the new verbs and there rather expensive. I've just downloaded it, and it looks promising. It could be the new DVDshrink, but better.I'll let you know what I think after i have tried it

I tried this program, just for grins, I ratted the file from 4 gbs down to less than 1gb.
I unratted the file, and it came out to just over 3gb,but the picture quality was very poor. The process to rat the file took over 4 hours.

It is my understanding that a rat file wont play on a dvd player,or has that issue been resolved?
