I have Motorola Phone Tools and i manually selected my phone from the list but it goes to the "Initializing modem" part and it wont do nothing else, just stays stuck there.
when i plug the phone to pc, A baloon pops up that says the device has malfunctioned and windows doesnt recognize it. Does the usb cord need to be like a motorola brand becuase i just tried using the cord from a camera. I thought maybe its the cable thats causing the problem.
First, update your motorola phone tools program, Menu, Setup, Update. You should be at version 4.0 or greater. If that doesn't work, then try installing the Motorola drivers, found here, MoMo Drivers I hope that tis helps
