Hi! I have a RCA 27inch TruFlat tv. It doesn't say it has HDTV, but i noticed it had (Y,Pb, Pr) connections and i was wondering if I can use a HDTV cable box with it. I tested the connections with my xbox 360 HD cable and I noticed a big diffrence in the picture quality, but I could only run the xbox at 480p, any higher and my tv goes blank. So can I use HDTV service with this tv? This RCA's Info On The Tv - http://tv.rca.com/en-US/ModelDetail.html?PC=Bedroom&MN=27F522T THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
No. Its an analog CRT not a Digital/HD CRT. This one is an HD compatible SDTV... http://tv.rca.com/en-US/ModelDetail.html?MN=27F634T&nav=BySize&PC=BySizeMedium I wouldn't use this unit with HDTV service since the resolution is only standard def (480i). But it will down convert HD images to Standard def quality (480i). Ced
