rd ram

    i have an intel wit rd ram right now i have 256mb of ram since im starting to upgrade it for gaming and rd ram really expensive would it be more affordable to buy a new motherboard that uses ddr?

    It probably would, but unless you get a mobo that supports the DDR2 RAM, it won't help. Your RAMBUS will run circles around any first generation DDR RAM. RAMBUS died because of its proprietary ways. :(

    Rambus didn't exactly die. They DID make XDR RAM for the PS3, which runs at here we go...3.2Ghz. RDRAM is great...if you've got the cash.
