I have several Christmas dvds that are about 20 some odd minutes long (Charlie Brown, How the Grinch... etc.). Is it possible to combine these somehow and put them onto one dvd so that I can avoid having to change discs for the little ones every half-hour? I have used DVDShink and DVDFab regularly...but have never tried to do anything like this.
Try using these guides. They show you how to combine different DVD's onto 1 DVD using DVD Shrink: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47252 http://www.dvdshrink.info/compilation.php
I was wondering if I ripped them to my hd that there may be duplicate file names for .vob, .ifo etc. I suppose though that if that happens I could rename the files so that they had different numbers assigned to each.
As long as you rip them to separate folders there won't be any problem. Shrink will create titlesets with the correct names when you complete the reauthoring process. If you change the names before you run them through Shrink to create the new DVD it won't be able to read them.
