Okay, so I'm on step 2/5 on TMPGEnc Plus Project Wizard. I'm on stuck on the part where it asked for Content of Video. It says to click on Video if my source is about 30fps or Film if my source is about 24 fps. When I opened up DVD2AVI to read my source's info, it says it's 30 fps but also says the it's type is FILM and it's Progressive. So should I select VIDEO b/c it's 30 fps or FILM with non-interlace progressive? but will the vid after encoding, be jumpy and stuff?
I use Tmpgenc Express. I find you can just load up the file then all you do is set source, set output and encode. Really straight forward.
If your Source is "Film" but it says the Frame Rate is "29.970fps" then you have to select the "Forced Film" option in "DVD2AVI" and then make your D2V file...then in Tmpgenc set the Frame Rate to "23.976fps(internally 29.976fps)" and set the "Encode Mode" to "3:2 Pulldown When Playback" and then encode like normal and you will have a properly encoded File.... Cheers
thanks, but I'm alright. I had a source that is FILM, non progressive, and 29.97 fps. On 2/5 of TMPGEnc Plus' Project Wizard, I just select Non-interlace, 16:9 525 line NTSC, and FILM, then proceed to 5/5. The result is good. It runs smoothly and looks the same played by original DVD.
