Can someone please advise me on what to do about his problem.
When I start up DVD Flick I get the following prompt "Dell Resource CD gathering information" how do I stop his from happening.I have to go to Task manager to delete it.

It sounds like the system is trying to install a driver that it thinks you might need.

Since you used the Task Manager to stop it previously, do this:
Start > Run and type msconfig.
    Select the 'Startup' tab.
Deslect anything that you don't won't to run when you start your PC.
    Reboot and run DVD Flick.

Monitor the system and if it acts up, re-enable the item.
It may be possible to download the required driver and install it permanently.

    Hi attar,
Had a look at what you said, and had nothing to stop at startup.
Will try and play around with it for a while and see if I can find the solution. Thanks !!
