Hey guy just reflashed my lite on and what can i say, Excellent work by the junglefalsher team really impressed with the new JF. Followed the tut/manual and it really is straight forward and easy to use KEEP up the good work guys
i was thinking of upgrading my lite-on from 1.5 to 1.51,but this will be my first ever flash,do i need any tools or can i just use my sata ports from my pc to the lite-on drive,and leave the drives power connecter from the xbox on,
thats how i did i didn't use my CK3 to see if it worked juts make sure u follow the user manual to do the lite-on using the new jungleflasher
ok its easy with jungle flasher u can do it over sata but i would like to highlite that when erasing the drive make sure you power on and of in quick sucsesion straight after the second warning (u will see it in the tut/user guide) as if it brings back invalid status and jf wont reconise the drive you will have to erase and flash via dos if u want any info just give us a shout and ill run through it with ya u must get dummy.bin (you say its already flashed with 1.5 so you can select the dummy.bin option and get dummy.bin from iextreme) and back it up so long as you have it you can revive the liteon should anything go wrong hope i havn't confused you hope this info helps ps i still use the via 6421 sata card not sure if your on board will work
Yes it is easy with JF, Just read the guide. I used my onboard sata & no problems with a intel motherboard. As evo99 said after the second warning when eraseing the drive as soon as you hit yes (about one second) power the drive off then on . I was to slow power cycleing my drive & it didn,t erase propley so I just hit erase than write, quickly, with no power cycleing & it came good & erased & wrote the new firmware , I think I was lucky
