Re-flasing a new image....how easy is it?

    I have SPORTSTER 1.75 And want to put on COMMANDO 6 2X Image. This is due to voice over problems on various movies etc on the sportster image.

    Would it be easy enough to re-flash a new image? Can I keep all my BOUQUETS and service xml files etc???

    it can be easy or it can fusk it all up..

    backup your cable.xml, services.xml and bouquet.xml

    best way to do it is to copy the image to the tmp folder of the DBox...

    then thru the menu system apply the new image

    to flash directly thru the menu system on DBox II

    copy your image file via FTP to the tmp folder of the DBox II

    Press the D-Box Ke --> Service --> Software Update --> Expert Mode

    Select Write Single Partition without Bootloader

    Select the image file the list

    and hey presto - give it 5 minutes

    once done, copy over the cable.xml, services.xml and bouquet.xml
