Re;New Mirco SD Card ???

Can someone please advise me on the following.
I recently purchased a new Mirco SD Card for my sons DS, but when I insert it after downloading all I get on screen is the following message

COULDU' FIND_ DS_MENU.DAT

u need to put on the firmware. you got a ds fire card?

 

I got a M3 Simple from a friend with the Mirco SD Card and all worked well when downloading until I got new Mirco SD Card.
Just like to know how do I transfer the hardware to the SD Card.

I have now downloaded the firmware successfully,and have downloaded a couple of games OK,but I am getting the message on the DS for a lot of the game I downloaded stating.

"Saved data could not be accessed"

Hope someone can help me with this problem.
