Hello everyone, im new to this site. I've been getting advice and tips form this site for a while, but i just joined because i have my own question that i haven't been able to find an answer for so far. Hopefully you guys can help me out.

When playing videos of any type (mkv, avi, xvid, divx, wmv), in any player (VLC, WMP, Winamp, Divx player, Zplayer, real, quicktime) The audio is fine but the video doesn't show. All that is visible is small blocky blue pixels as there is movement in the movie. I tried taking a screenshot to show what it looks like but they dont show up, so i added it in paint, it looks pretty much the same except the real thing is smaller pixels forming the shape of whatever is moving. This problem has been happening for almost a year now, off and on. The only way for me to fix it is to reboot. Sometimes as soon as i turn on the computer, i can open a video file and it is doing this. I dont have to open anything else that might be interfering with the video output.

I am currently using the latest K-lite codec pack. I have used the CCCP in the past but had the same problem. I cleaned it out and installed the k-lite pack and no change.

    System specs:
    AMD Athlon64 X2 2.2 Ghz 4200+
    2Gb OCZ pc3200
BFG Geforce 7800 GS OC AGP
    XP Pro 32-bit
    LG 19" Widescreen LCD (LG192ws)

I don't think its a hardware issue though because I have a dual-boot with Vista Ultimate 64bit and video works fine on there, never had a problem with it.

Any help i can get is greatly appreciated, thanks alot.

Srry it took a while to reply, but yes, im always prompt with installing diver updates. I have had this installation for over 3 years, and only in the last year or less it has been doing this.
