I've got an AVI that the first 2 min is just fine and then it seems like part of the video was dropped out, but the audio remains. So, from that point on the audio is behind the video by 20s or so. Most of the fixes I've seen proposed adjust the entire AVI by an offset. I need to do that, but from a starting point (where the video is dropped off). Free/opensource is preferred.

    TIA,

The best approach is to use something like Virtualdub and
split the avi in two at the point where the audio goes out.
Then resync the audio in the bad section and rejoin.
