Reactivate

    Could any one tell me why my Windows XP Home is asking me to reactivate my Windows XP, this is the third time within two and one half month I had to reactivate this Windows XP Home. It keep telling me because of hardware change I need to reactivate within three days, I haven't change a thing on this computer the only thing I did was reinstall Windows XP Home, so is any one know whats up with that.

    Is it a retail version, or OEM?

    If reactivating doesn't work online, call up MS...tell them XP wants to reactivate even though you haven't added anything. They won't believe you of course, but they'll still issue a code.

    Believe it or not, lastnight it ask me to reactivate my Windows XP homes again.

    Sounds to me like your activation files are corrupt.
