   Will Real Altnative ( http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/real_alternative.cfm ) allow me to play RealMedia in WinAmp? Also, is there any spyware/adware in this software?

   To play Real Media in Winamp you need to have either Real Player or Real Alternative installed and Tara's plugin.
