Help!...I cannot uninstall a previous version of Real Player (Possibly Real One v9.0 or v8.0)...I downloaded an upgrade (V10.0) and in the process of installation, it gave me a warning that I had a previous version of Real that needed to be uninstalled first...I clicked 'OK' and it immediately gave me a warning 'Uninstaller Components Missing'...Yet, it continued with the installation and while the folder and icon demonstrates an existing Real Player, it will not load no matter what I do...Furthermore, I cannot uninstall it with the option in the newly downloaded folder...I also tried going to 'Add Remove Programs' in Control Panel and it gave me the same 'Uninstaller Components Missing' error when I tried to remove it...What can I do?
Well I guess you weren't able to get an answer for a long time. I also had a similar problem but with a diff program. To manage to delete all of the Real Player stuff download this program, I must tell u though that once u install and decide to use the program u have a limit of how many times u can use it,here's the site http://www.4developers.com/addremove/ After installing this program you're gonna have to delete the folder manually.Go to C:// drive then find the folder and delete it.
