thanks to LABOY for pointing this out..... If you are comfortable with RitekG04's (100% success rate so far on my 200+ backups on my Lite On SOHW-1633S) then office depot is having an ultimate sale. Buy one 50 pack of DVD-R (office depot brand) and get one free....yup...100 DVD-R's for $30.00 enjoy!!
Its the office depot brand. Deal is on + and - media. http://www.officedepot.com/promo/re...VMMPA0MUP3Q1HUNA&odserver=www.officedepot.com
Whats the differance between Riteks G04 and G05, and any other type, what is there "Grade A" What is the "top disk" you can get.
mstall05: yes, I bought mine in store yesterday. I found out about the sale in Office depot's weekly ad in the Sundays paper.
G04 is 4X media and G05 is 8X media. They use different dye. I have heard mixed reveiws on the GO5. I use the GO4 and have had great success
I told the wife to pick up 2 50 packs at Office Depot while she was out. I told her to get the -Rs, but they were out so she talked them into substituting the 8x Maxells instead. Does anybody know who makes these? Just wondering if anybody has used these and had problems. If so, I can take them back before I open them and exchange them for the others when they get them in.
The 8x Maxell DVD-Rs That I picked up at Office Depot are MXLRG03.I've had no problems with them. IMHO you got a heck of a deal....
DVDInfo indicate the Media ID for these media are RITEK R02. Is this the same as Riteks G04 like it was mentioned above?
Another question, what does the "G" mean? digitalfaq.com indicate that ritekg01 and ritekg02 are 4th class media. Is g2 and r2 meant the same? thanks
