Yeah thats the one i just cant get a picture on the screen i have plugged the three plugs into the sockets on the front of my tv like it says to in the instructions but i still get nothing. My cancorder only takes the yellow and white jacks and i can get a picture from that but not on the tv or video.
I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do. Are you trying to copy your camcorder videos to the PC using the Tevion device?
When you go to the link did you click on 'Download' and look at the various help options especially the ones referring to latest drivers, patch and the help video? If I understand the problem it is when you are trying to copy a tape from VCR into the PC that you don't see the incoming video on your PC. Are these tapes of commercial movies, because they may have Macrovision protection on them which might prevent the device from working. Other than that I can't offer any help.
I have downloaded and installed everything on the site and still it dont work. I have tried with differant videos the main one i want is for home movies but i cant get a picture on the screen where their should be one everything is set up as it should be.
I'm not clear on what you mean by "on the tv or video", but it sounds like when you are feeding your device from the camcorder eveything works. I'm guessing that the camcorder and the vcr both use the yellow lead for the video output to your device and the camcorder signal is useable? If so the problem would seem to be related to your vcr? The yellow lead from the device is definately connected to the vcr "video out"?
Im sorry it seems you are having a few problems understanding me i will try to elaborate more. what has happened is first i tried to hook it up to my tv using all three of the jacks (red yellow and white) all placed into their coresponding holes on the tv. to this i got no picture on the software to capture. next i tried with my vcr exactly the same problem. Then i thought i would try with my camcorder now my camcorder only takes two of the three jacks the yellow and the white jack not the red one and hey presto i have a picture so what i dont get is how can it work on my camcorder but not the tv or video. What i did notice though is you can get a scart conection that the three jacks go into and then it plugs into your vcr. Would it be worth getting one of those to try. i hope this spreads a bit of light on my problem thanx.
A SCART connector is used in Europe?I'm in North America so I can't help. The only other thing might be that you are in a PAL region and your software is set for NTSC (North America, Japan).
Right its all sorted i went out and got a scart connector flipped the switch to output and bingo instant picture. but if anybody is put in the same position and they get picyure but no sound try updating your soundcard drivers.
