Reauthor question

I made a DVD from a VHS tape,it has 7 chapters.
It plays fine on my dvd player.
I want to make a DVD for a friend with just 1 chapter taht has there video in it.
I opened it in Shrink & picked REAUTHOR
It only shows 2 files on the right side.
Each one looks the same.
When i tried to pick the START & END points it only shows the last chapter on the dvd.
How do i see all the chapters so i can start & end it where is has my friens video only ?

 

You might try using something like Nero, in the Nero Vision Express program you can edit the video from the DVD to start and end on that chapter and then it will encode and burn.

Or try a video editing program like Video Editing Magic.

But why does shrink show only 2 files when i have 7 chapters?

 

Shrink breaks a disc down by the .ifo files. The ifo files have the ch info.
VTS_01_0.IFO VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_01_2.VOB VTS_01_3.VOB would be title 1.

VTS_02_0.IFO VTS_02_1.VOB VTS_02_2.VOB VTS_02_3.VOB would be title 2.

Select the tile with the vid u need and click on "Set Start/End Frames" to edit it.
