rec prob with toshiba rd-xv45

    can anyone help me, i am recently having probs with my toshiba hd/dvd/vcr it will still play from the vcr hd or dvd and rec from hd or dvd to video but will not rec from hd to dvd it comes up with message recording error. plz can anyone help me

    the prob is not with copyright its just not recording onto disc at all now
