recently updated genuine starbox but no channels!

    I just updated my starbox and have done installation scan for channels - it's only picking up 37 channels and then when i select a channel it justs says data being updated but no progress!
    Ive tried turning the EMU off and on and re installing but no joy - can anyone help?
    The channel search is for N*L Ireland

    After checking the EMU is on press ok on the default key, exit to S*y Spor*s and give it a minute or so.

    Sorry missed the bit about Ireland, i'm in the UK might be a bit different over here,but hang about i'm sure DesB or Noley will be about in a bit to sort you out mate.

    Howya murz ;)

    @ maggot,
    Do a factory reset
    Menu > factory setting, pin >0000, ok to Delete

    TURN THE B0X OFF AT THE BACK FOR A MIN, THEN TURN BACK ON

    English > installation > choose provider (n*l)
    Auto scan > press ok
    Channels found > exit

    Menu > 1570 > set default key
    Turn EMU on
    Exit to Discovery Turbo or s*y two & see if it updates.
    If not, turn the b0x off at the back for a min, turn back on & see if that does the job.

    I got the same trouble but with the different that it was OK this mourning and i was watching CNN and a couple minutes later i got this message : DATA IS BEING Updated...0% JUST LIKE IT and have been like this since this morning .

    ANY HELP PLEASE
    :(

    What firmware have you got on the box, and have you checked that the key Emu is ON, and also have you tried pressing Default Key and going to an encrypted channel, to see if it updates, even turning off for minute.

    Im good Noely, sorry to hear about the trouble you guys are having in Ireland, sure it will be sorted soon as usual.

    selecting sky sports and waiting for it to update did the trick - cheers mate - sorted!
