    Hi,
first off, let me say I am new here so don't get to harsh with me if I ask a stupid question or get lost in the placing a question in the wrong fourm(1st mistake).
I am new to burning dvds with the programs Shrink, and Ripit4me.I have read the fourms to try and do some homework about which is the best way to go about it and decided to try Shrink.
I have Nero 6.6.1.4, and the usual erro code of "cannot find TRF",when I used ripit4me and shrink.I like the Nero program for ripping mp3s for the most part and don't really want to go back to an older version. The movie I am trying did get compressed and copied to my hard drive. So I closed the programs out and started to use Nero Recode and it seems to start off ok, but then I dont know if its freezing up or it just takes this long? The first time it looked like it froze up after 50 mins of work, and stayed like that with no apparent movement forward n the progress, so I shut it down after about 4 hours or so, and its on about the second hour this time with no apparent progress.
Now, my big qeustion is how long does it normally take on average?I know it depends onthe computer, but four hours?
And how do I get the history and or logs that alot of people post?

Thanks for any help before I poke my eyes out,
    Chris

uninstalled the version I had, and installed the eariler Nero, and now I can use Shrink with ripit4me, still couldnt go from ripit straight to Nero, it still froze but no matter. As long as I can rip music with Nero and the other two work good together this simplton is happy :)
Thank you for the input :)
