I've been using DVD Fab express for some time along with nero recode. After updating to DVD Fab express 3.0.2.0 Recode constantly gives me the out of memory and cannot continue error. Now if I uninstall 3.0.2.0 and install DVD FAB 2.9.8.3 everything works fine. On recode I am up to date on the latest version (3.1.0.25)
Are the two programs not playing well together anymore?
Here's the log. It is worth noting that I have done a clean uninstall & re-install of both Recode & DVD fab. It acts like DVD Fab is not eliminating everything. Please if you would help!

"Out of memory" is a well known RipGuard protection from Macrovision. Now-a-days, it gets more and more complicated to rip and backup new released because of "corrupted, invalid or fake cells has been encrypted on the dvds," so in prior to transcode your movie with Nero Recode, you'll need to process the already ripped VIDEO_TS.IFO file from DVDFAB Decrypter through VobBlanker.

I, too, use DVDFAB Decrypter to rip the movie to my HD first, then I post process or blank out FBI Warnings and few other unwanted Trailers through VobBlanker (only take like 5 extra minutes). Once VobBlanker is done, I'll have Nero Recode to transcode my movie. I've used this method and still use it daily and I've never come across any movies that I can not rip and backup, so far it has been 100% flawless.

For more info on how to use DVVDFAB + VobBlanker + DVD Shrink + ImgBurn, go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154 You can simply use Nero Recode instead of DVD Shrink. I designed that guide for those newbies that doesn't have Nero Recode only. Again, I prefer Nero Recode over DVD Shrink simply because Recode is 2 times faster.

    Good luck and happy burning.

Thanks for the help. What's weird about this is that I don't get the eror messsage when I rip the title to the hard drive with dvd fab 2.9.8.3 only with 3.0.2.0. With the earlier version everything works great. This is true on all titles both newer and older. Last night I backed up an older title and the same thing happened. So I did a clean uninstall of 3.0.2.0 and re-installed 2.9.8.3 and everything went fine without VOB Banker. Maybe the newer version of DVD fab just needs VOB Blanker?
    Thanks again!
