I have seen this BIG problem mentioned in this forum & elsewhere but it hasn't been addressed properly or sorted!!
Recode behaves appropriately in all tasks EXCEPT when trying to burn a DVD5 image to the Image Recorder.
This seems to be a problem with all "dual layer" capable Nero versions.
The Image Recorder is always written to as if it is a DVD9 disc and consequently adds a layer break ("Burning Layer 2")!
It should not be difficult to get the Image Recorder to behave as a DVD5 when you have selected this media-type as your target.
Surely there must be many others experiencing this difficulty??
Is there any way to force the Image Recorder to always "think" it is a DVD5 (older file versions maybe)?

This is what I've been asking but no one seems interested - not even Nero!

It definitely happens and it stops me using Recode.

Nobody here seems to have much idea a bout it.

Can you write to Nero as well - see if you can get them to look at it. I reckon it would be easy for the writers of the software to fix - but I've no expertise on how they do that. :)
