recommend me (about viewing video in tv)

    hi dudes, i have many series and videos i wanna see in my tv cuz its more comfy and i can bring my gf, etc. but i dont know which method is better recommended, to convert avi into dvdr, viewing them using the videocard s-video tv-out, burning .avi and buying a stand alone dvd player that supports xvid, etc

    thats why i ask here cuz u people have lots of experience in those subjects so i know u can give me best suggestion =)

    It would be less of a hassle to invest in a DVD player that supports (Xvid/DivX) files (In the US they are around $50).

    All you need to do is burn the video files as a data DVD and insert and play. I use DVD-RW that way I can just reburn movies to the DVD-RW disc after watching them and not waist
    DVDR -/+ that are not rewritable.

    I actually do not even use this method anymore. I have a modded Xbox and use XBNC to network to my computer and play the files that way. But for someone that doe's not have an Xbox that is modded and runs XBMC I would recommend the above.

    ok i will follow ur advice but could u plz help me telling me which multizone stand alone dvd player i should go for ? a friend is traveling to USA and he told me there was no problem he can bring me one, (here are more expensive and there are less models to choose from), if it can be bought in a best buy or that kind of stores which are everywhere it would be best
