Recommendation for HD backup

    I am looking for the best (fastest, most efficient) way to backup my computer before reformatting because of spyware/viruses.

    I have a DVD burner but want to make sure I get everything but the viruses, so if you know a good plan to follow please help me out.

    Norton Ghost, but you should download an app like AdAware and get rid of the spyware, anyway.

    For the viruses, run any virus program to get rid of it.

    Hi pdw_007, As GrandpaBW stated Norton Ghost is great for backup. But as he also stated you should try and get rid of the problems. If you don't you will just backup them also and reload the same problems if you ever restore the system.
