I used to usehave FFDShow and a couple others installed but in recently switched to XP Codec Pack as it seemeed to be so complete... it happens that certain video files doesn't play or play only the audion and only on certain players... i went, unnistalled xp codec pack and got myself xvid, divx, ffdshow and ac3 filter, i tought i'd be good with these but i had the same problem so i created this thread so someone could tell me what codecs should i get in order to get no codec conflict or the most complete codec pack out there so i can play all sorts of media files, from .wmv's to .mkv's for instance.

    Thanks.
