Can anyone help me here? Lately, all of the movies I burn cut off about 3/4 into the movie. The first of the movie is very clear, but the end either has those "pixels" or just gets stuck and shuts off. Is it my hard drive, not enough memory, the actual burner drive, the burning software, or the blank discs? Please help.

The problems you are experiencing are typical of cheap media...try some nice Verbatims or Taiyo Yuden.

    EDIT:

Also make sure your firmware is up to date for your burner and don't apply paper adhesive labels. If you have some canned air you might want to blow out your burner and clean your standalone player as well.

It's firmware..not filmware...we need to know the make and model of your burner, then we can possibly advise you further about firmware.
