I have recorded a Tv special on my sat box and have a IDX Quickfinder information file of 414kb and a TS file of 3.57gig My computer wont play it and I would like to make a DVD and edit some stuff off the start and end of it Can some one set me on the correct road to do this. I have DVD shrink DVD decrypter neither which work with this I know I also have NERO 10 but havent tried it yet Thanks and Im sorry if this is a repost but I did look. Thanks
DVD Flick lists .ts (mpeg-2 transport streams) files as an acceptable format. Try opening it and output the DVD to a folder. Use DVD Shrink in Re-author mode to clip the ends.
Flick says its either truncated or corrupt yet when i put it back in the sat box it plays right through no trouble It says it cant make a thumbnail but does make one that is 1 second long It was recorded using timer record and just allowed to go till the box shut it off. Dont know what to do Have tried the VLC player and it wont play it either
Open the .ts in HDTVtoMPEG2 Save/process as an MPEG2 file If it works, try DVD Flick again using the mpeg file.. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/HDTVtoMPEG2
Thanks guys but it didnt work Says "Could not find a channel" Tried copying to main drive on Notebook and renamed it with a shorter name but still the same. One from left field Does it make any difference trying to open and convert it on a netbook with NO Writer in it Probably not I thought but strange things happen sometimes
