I am trying to record from PC to VHS, i have connected PC direct to Video (VHS),via scart (connected graphics card and sound card to scart). I am getting a very poor picture, its more or less scrambled but can see picture in back ground. I use twin view through properties to active pic on TV, but am unable to get same pic quality as on the monitor, which is very good! i have selected PAL (UK) settings aswell on PC, still no change. Can someone help me please. Thanks in advanced.

hi! what graph. card? i have a TNT1 (asus 3400) and there are some options: deflicker, darkness, etc.. but it still poorer than the monitor. monitors working at high refrsh freqs vs tv, and the tv is interlaced (PAL stndrd: 50 half(!) picts/sec = 25 fps)
try lower res, and connect Ur scart to a video-tape. (but....)

have you got any closer to solving the problem?
