i'm trying to record about 200 anime episodes which is avi's, about 174mbs each, also trying to create a menu, and at least fit 10-20 episodes on each disc, and creating a menu. the issue i'm running into is, i can only fit about 4 episodes on each dvd disc using nero, which will require about 40-50 disc, and i'm not willing to use that many. any tips or suggestions?? should i just stick to recording it as a data dvd, but i still want to create a menu..

btw i also have the jvc dvd player, which plays almost every format, avi, mpg, divx, etc.

    Hi there,

    Give VSO ConvertXtoDVD a shot.

It's not free, but worth the money.

Depending on the quality of the input file, you might be able to fit up to 6 episodes BUT will loose quality everytime you add 1 more episode since ConvertXtoDVD will reduce the bitrate, to make your DVD fit on a DVD5 media !

Demo is free, give it a shot !

Will create you a basic menu, and has a built in burn engine too !
