recording sound clips

    I have some music that i want to be able to play and then record certain clips out of the music. how can i do this

    Try Audacity. It will record anything you hear coming from your speakers. When you are done recording, you can highlight the area of the file you want to save, & then save it as an mp3. Or, you can highlight the areas you don't want & then cut them out.

    try Acoustica-MP3-Audio-Mixer, it lets you mix several layers of audio, and you can play and save any part of a song. but read the DUMMY FILES. this is a 30 day trial then you have to BUY it.
