recycle bin

    first of all it's not a big deal if I don't change this but my recycle bin icon is now a folder. I don't care if this looks like this , but how did this happen? I'm using 98 se. Thanks gang

    I had that same thing happen to me using XP. Posted that q on 10 messageboards, and even though the people tried their hardest, no suggestion worked! Ended up having to do a new installation.

    However, with 98 this might work. See if you can download PowerToys from Microsoft, and use TweakUI's Icon Cache rebuilder.
