I recently bought my first xbox because I wanted to use XBMC Media Center Features...It came in the mail last week with a 120 GB HD and I have been extremely satisfied with it until today. I turn the start button on to find that the light goes green and flashes red and green. When I use the disc eject button to get it on I am able to get a different screen to come up(Xeium), then I just reboot from there to get it has come up to the Evo X screen, but its been hit or miss sually just staying on that xeium screen. I hope that makes sense. This is the first xbox I have ever owned, but have fallen in love with what it can do. I guess I am writing to see what you guys can do? Something that you might find of a help is that I currently also have another original Xbox that is totally factory and working fine...What I am hoping that we can make a deal of some kind to get my xbmc xbox running good again. the frag might indicate a failing modchip. are you able to boot from the modchip or from the ms bios? which one doesn't work? you should be able to boot normally from your ms bios if your mod chip is failing. btw. you do not get an error code/message when it blinks? if so, which one. if it only flashes (frags), then you should check your d0 point. you might have a continuity problem! you're other xbox will not help you out.
